Easter is one of my favorite holidays to decorate little goodies. All the colors are bright and cheery, and it’s SPRING so it’s getting warmer, and it all just makes me  really happy.

How to make these Bunny  and Chick Cupcakes

You will need: Chocolate boxed cake mix, Chocolate tub of frosting, Cupcake liners, Edible grass OR edible grass sprinkles, Yellow melting candy, Orange melting candy, White melting candy, Pink melting candy and, Chick and Bunny accessories sprinkles

Make your cupcakes as directed on the box. Allow them to cook completely. While you’re waiting on them to cook and cool, you can make the ADORABLE toppers for the Bunny and Chick Cupcakes.

Line a cookie sheet with wax or parchment paper. Melt yellow melting candies in a microwave-safe bowl until they can be stirred smooth. Put in a piping bag. Snip the end off the baggie or piping bag, and make overlapping ovals onto the wax paper.

Next you’re going to do the bunnies. I used a melting candy that had little speckles of blue, green, and red in it, because it was what I had on hand. Whenever you can, use plain white.

Stick the cookie sheet into the freezer on a flat surface and let the chocolate completely harden.

While you wait, you can frost the cupcakes. I used chocolate to resemble dirt. Then I found these awesome green grass sprinkles.
