My date night ideas are usually dinner and a movie, dinner and a movie, dinner and a movie…and that can get old really quickly. I love a good dinner and a movie, but if you’re stuck in a dating rut and need some fun date night ideas, then this list should give you some inspiration!

WHAT ARE SOME GOOD IDEAS FOR DATE NIGHT?
If you’re anything like the traditional couple, date night comes and you both ask each other what you want to do, and you both respond in unison, “I don’t care, it’s up to you!” It can be tough to think of fun things to do on a date night, but I’ve come up with 100 Date Night Ideas for you and your significant other! Surely out of these good ideas for date night you can find something fun to do together!
HOW DO YOU PLAN A HOME DATE NIGHT?
I’ve actually included some of my favorite home date night ideas in the list below! If your budget is low, you have kids, or the weather isn’t cooperating it can be easier to do a date night in. Home date nights can be fun and romantic too! Get creative, pick something from this list, and run with it!
WHAT DO COUPLES DO ON A NIGHT OUT?
Well, that all depends on your budget, your interests, and how long you’ve been together! If you’re a new couple, you might want to do something less romantic, and more fun to give the relationship time to grow. If so, see my big list of First Date Ideas here.
If you’ve been together a long time, or are married, you may want to spice it up a bit. The important thing is to have fun as a couple on a night out. Pick something (or a couple of somethings) from the list of date night ideas below and enjoy your time together!

1. Go on a picnic.
2. Take a walk.
3. Sing karaoke.
4. Go eat at a restaurant you’ve never eaten at before.

We love this one! This is where my husband and I spent a lot of time together when we were dating! Definitely at the top of the list of Date Night Ideas for us!
6. Play board games.

We recently had an opportunity to review a subscription box called Date Night In! They’re perfect for people who are on the go a lot, or parents who find it hard to get a babysitter and leave the kids. The theme changes every month, and we were highly impressed. We definitely suggest trying them out! It was a night to remember. They thought of everything! They had a special radio station for us to listen to, had a whole booklet with activities for the night’s theme, had a DIY project, and it even came with a dinner recipe suggestion, and included the cookie mix and cookie cutters as well! 25. Go out for ice cream.
Pick somewhere fun for a good date night idea. Choose a rolled ice cream place, or even an ice cream place you’ve never been to!
26. Visit an international grocery store.
Sometimes you can find the neatest things at these!
27. Go roller skating.

29. Go visit a family member.
Maybe even have a family dinner! It’s nice to see family you enjoy spending time with.

My husband and I re-did these barstools together and really enjoyed the process! So easy and they turned out beautifully and a fun date night idea!

If you are a Christian, this little box is an AMAZING way to have an intimate night with your spouse that’s based around growing in Jesus first. As Christians we KNOW that having Christ at the center of our relationship is essential, but sometimes life gets in the way and we forget to apply it. These boxes have awesome little snacks, DIYs, amazing booklets that encourage Bible study and conversation, and more! If you are a Christian, and are married or soon-to-be-married, you NEED this box! There are lots of indoor water parks if the weather isn’t right for an outdoor water park.

Doesn’t have to be girly, this can be fun! Going through old photos is half the enjoyment.

Basically you have $10 to buy your date’s outfit at a thrift store. Has to be the right size and gender appropriate. The rule is you can’t tell other people what you’re doing on your date. Go out to dinner and whatever else dressed in the thrifted outfit all night. It’s a blast!

100. Get matching tattoos.
Last on the list of 100 Date Night Ideas is getting couple’s tattoos. My husband and I did this or our 9th anniversary. The Pixar movie, Up came out the weekend we got married, and the first thing we did as a married couple was go to the theaters and watch that movie. So we got matching tattoos!
