With warmer weather, comes more outside time for us as a family. We love to play with sidewalk chalk, but making this Sidewalk Chalk Mosaic was the most fun!

It only took a couple of supplies we already had on hand, but kept all of us busy for an entire hour! This is definitely something we will do again and again.

How to Make a Sidewalk Chalk Mosaic

Step 1: Gather your supplies. You will need: – Painter’s Tape (1″ works best) – Sidewalk Chalk (this Crayola kind is the most pigmented)

Step 2: Make your lines. Use the painter’s tape to make random connecting lines on your sidewalk.

Step 3: Color in the shapes. Pro Tip: Color everything in really well for the biggest pops of color.

Step 4: Remove the tape. Unlike removing painter’s tape from walls, you can pull the tape up as quickly as you want. This only takes a couple of minutes to do.
