Bunny Butt Easter Treats
You will need:
Free Printable Bunny Templates (prints 3 to a page)
50 mm Clear Plastic Ornaments (I found mine for cheap on Amazon HERE)
White Pom-Poms
Easter M&Ms (or Jelly Beans, or Skittles, or mini Cadbury Eggs etc)
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
Pencil
What you need to do first, is print off the Bunny Butt Treats template HERE. Gently break off the little section where you would hang the ornament on the Christmas tree, to make it a perfect circle. I did this just using my fingers and didn’t have any issues with cracking or breaking with the ornaments I bought.
USE THE SAME ORNAMENTS FROM THIS PROJECT TO MAKE THESE CUTE EASTER BUNNY TREATS TOO!
Use a pencil, and lightly trace the ornament half on the center of the bunny, so you’ll get it in the middle when you glue it. Fill the ornament half with M&Ms, or the candy of your choice, nearly full. Put a thin bead of glue around the flat half of the ornament and quickly place the bunny on top of the ornament, being sure to line it up with the circle you traced.
The easiest way to do this is by holding the ornament and the bunny above your eye level to keep them lined up.
Allow the hot glue to dry for a minute, then attach a white pom-pom on the top of the bunny butt to give him a little bunny tail!
The cute Bunny Butt templates print three to a page in the colors shown in the pic above. They’re great for boys or girls. I’d recommend printing them on cardstock, or this project will be a complete fail. Cardstock is heavy enough to withstand the weight of the candy and the plastic ornament.
These look super cute in an Easter basket and kids think the cute little Bunny Butt Treats are super cute! I think they turned out pretty adorable too, and can’t wait to give them to my girls on Easter! You can fill these with your favorite candy, but Easter M&Ms are a favorite around here, so I used those. You can print the Bunny Butt templates HERE. Want to make this project later?
