Step 2: Print out your Elf Food Groups sign.
When you print out the Elf Food Groups sign, you have a couple of options. You can print them full page, OR you can print them four-to-a-page using your printer settings.
This is what they’ll look like when you print them either way.
Step 3: Wrap the lid of your gift box (optional).
I found this amazing Elf wrapping paper at the Dollar Tree last year, and I bought a bunch of rolls in case I couldn’t find it this year.
I wrapped the lid of my gift box in this wrapping paper to further add to the theme of the gift.
Step 4: Add in the gift contents to the box.
The Elf movie four food groups are:
I added in those things (I chose peanut butter M&M’s as my “candy”), as well as a box of spaghetti because of the movie reference.
Feel free to leave out the spaghetti, switch up the candy type, and get a smaller bottle of syrup to make the gift able to fit in a smaller box if you want.
Step 5: Add in the printable sign.
You can either leave the sign full page, or print then four-to-a-page using your printer settings.
They are cute when included in the box, or if your box is big enough, fun to put on the lid of the box as well!
If you put the sign on the lid, it does give an idea of what’s inside the box. So if you want it to be a surprise, you may choose to put it in the box as shown below.
To keep the contents of the box more of a surprise, put the sign on the inside of the box. You can choose the full-size option here, I just liked it smaller when putting it inside.
This would make an awesome gag gift or White Elephant gift this Christmas, or just a fun gift for people who are hard to buy for!
