Snowman Marshmallows | The Perfect Hot Chocolate Topper!

Snowman Marshmallows are the perfect way to make your hot chocolate special! They don’t take any time to make either!

These seasonal marshmallows are perfect for Christmas, but also for the winter season in general. I love making a big cup of hot chocolate and sipping it in front of the fire during the winter. And these marshmallows will help you have the cutest hot chocolate ever!

Easy DIY Snowman Marshmallows

We love to have movie nights and get all snuggled up with hot chocolate in the cold months. Anytime my kids go out and play in the snow, I try to have hot chocolate ready for them when they come back in to thaw their little noses! These Snowman Marshmallows are adorable, and SO easy to make! My kids love them!

These Snowman Marshmallows are also perfect to make ahead of time, and give as gift with hot chocolate and a mug. They’d be great for a hot chocolate bar too! I also made the super cute Hot Chocolate Snowmen Ornaments to give as gifts this year too, and I love how they turned out!

Gather Your Supplies

This food craft is so simple and only requires a few things. You can grab them online or in-store locally, but either way, this is the cutest way to drink hot chocolate!

• Marshmallows
• Scissors
• (2) quart size baggies
• Orange melting chocolates
• Black cookie frosting (You can also use black melting chocolates, but I used the cookie icing.)

Combine the Ingredients

You won’t need very much of either, even if you make a lot of marshmallows. So keep that in mind when melting your chocolates. I used a small handful of the orange and did probably 20 with plenty leftover in my piping bag. I microwaved my melting chocolates for about a minute, stirred, then for another 30 seconds. You will want them smooth, so stir until every bit of chocolate is melted.

Put your melted chocolate and cookie icing into the corner of your quart size baggies. Use scissors to cut a TINY corner off the end of your bag. The chocolate and icing and very runny, so I really can’t stress TINY corner enough.

Use the black piping bag to pipe on two dots for eyes, and five dots for a mouth. Then use the orange to make a cute triangle for his little snowman nose. Let them dry before storing them, if you wish to do so, otherwise just plop your Snowman Marshmallows straight into the hot chocolate!
