DIY wreaths are one of my favorite things to make. Not only do they make a dramatic entrance to greet guests on your front door, but they save you a TON of money to make your own instead of buying them.
Step 2: Prepare your wreath form.Preparing your wreath form is super easy. You can buy these pre-prepped, but it’s just as easy (and cheaper) to do this step yourself.
Step 3: Cut out your deco mesh.Cut your mesh to a length of 10″ for each piece using a rotary cutter and mat. Using scissors for this will drive you crazy and cause excess fraying.
Step 5: Trim the pipe cleaners. When you’re done attaching all your deco mesh rolls to your wreath, you will still have a lot of excess pipe cleaner length left.Â
Step 6: Attach the eggs to the wreath.Use a hot glue gun to attach foam eggs in varying sizes and colors to the wreath. I used the eggs to fill in spaces and to help give another pop of color.
Step 7: Add a bow to your wreath.I used three yards of wired 2″ ribbon to make a big bow, and used another pipe cleaner to attach it to the wire wreath frame.
