How to Make an Oatmeal Cream Pie Scarecrow {VIDEO}
These super cute Oatmeal Cream Pie Scarecrows only take a few minutes thanks to the free printable I designed and am giving you to make this craft easier. It’s simple, but will make an ordinary Oatmeal Cream Pie so much more fun!
Here is a quick video overview of the simple process of making these adorable treats! The instructions are also written below the video for your convenience.
Step 1: Gather your supplies.

To make this Oatmeal Cream Pie Scarecrow craft, you will need the following supplies:
- Free Printable Scarecrow Face Template (download at the end of the post)
- Cardstock
- Black Permanent Marker
- Double Side Adhesive Roll-On
- Scissors
- Oatmeal Cream Pies (store-bought or homemade)
NOTE: These were designed to be used with regular, Little Debbie brand Oatmeal Cream Pies. They won’t fit on the jumbo ones. If you do make homemade oatmeal cream pies, just make the cookies about 3″ across and place them in small plastic bags.
Step 2: Cut out and attach the face.
Print out your scarecrow face template onto cardstock paper. If you use regular paper, it’s too thin and will tear too easily. Keep in mind that the templates print four faces on a sheet of paper. It’s just regular 8.5″ x 11″ cardstock paper.
Cut out the pieces and use the double-sided adhesive roller (seriously, these are my favorite things – they make crafts like this SO SIMPLE) to attach them to the packaging on the Oatmeal Cream Pies.
Step 3: Draw on the eyes and mouth.

Use a black permanent marker to draw a curved smile between the pink cheek circles. Use the marker to also make black dots for the eyes. Repeat for any other Oatmeal Cream Pie Scarecrow treats you want to make!
