Easter Egg Chicks
Each one will be unique, so no two Easter Egg Chicks are the same! Make them in or out of their egg shell. I love no-sew projects with kids, and feel like felt is the best fabric to use since it holds up so well. Instructions
Now that you have all your supplies gathered up, it’s time to make your chicks! There are printable directions available at the end of the post, and I’ve included a ton of pictures too!

The reason I said to print the template on sticker paper, is because it makes is SO easy if you do that! I just cut the stickers out, and then stick them to the felt, and cut the shapes out of the felt that way. Super simple.

After you get the shape cut out, you’re going to clue them together. Leave a space open at the top that you don’t glue, so you can stuff it.

Stuff the inside of your Easter Egg Chicks with Polyfil. Don’t overfill or it won’t be soft and squishy. Then, cut the top off a yellow feather for the top of your Easter Egg Chicks.

Stick the feather inside the top of the Easter Egg Chicks before you glue the top part together. Once it’s stuffed and the feather is inside, glue the rest of it together at the top. Use black t-shirt paint to make cute little eyes, and cut a small orange triangle from felt (I just cut the corners off, it’s easiest) and glue it on the front. You can also use a pink permanent marker to give your chick rosy cheeks too.

When your Easter Egg Chicks are finished, they should look something like this!
You could also use the printable template on white felt, and then cut out the bottom or top of a “cracked” egg to glue on top of your Easter Egg Chicks too. Experiment with different colors and patterns for more Easter fun!
