In about thirty minutes you can make an adorable Valentine Pom Pom Sign! It’s the perfect Valentine Home Decor DIY to make your house ready for Valentine’s Day!

This little sign is one of my new favorite pieces of Valentine decor in my house – and I made it! My goal is always to make things that cause people to ask, “Where did you get that?”, not, “Did you make that?” because I feel like those are two different questions. I want my homemade stuff to look store-bought!
This sign turns out so fun, and the pom-poms I used to make this Valentine Pom Pom Sign look like expensive, felted pom-poms, but they aren’t! You’re not going to believe how easy this is to make.
How to make a Valentine Pom Pom Sign
Step 1: Gather your supplies.

You will need:
- Mini Valentine Pom-Poms (super happy with these I ordered from Amazon)
- Small Wooden Sign (got mine from Walmart)
- Pencil
- Hot Glue Gun

These signs were super cute and already made with an attached hanger if I wanted to put it on the wall for just under six bucks. I couldn’t pass that up, so I used this as my base.
Step 2: Draw your heart.

I took a pencil and drew a heart on the sign. Erase and re-draw until it’s shaped and centered like you want. I had to re-do mine a couple of times until I was happy with it.
Step 3: Glue on the pom-poms.

Start at the top, where the heart meets in the center, and work your way around the outside. I used a little dot of hot glue on each pom-pom to make this Valentine Pom Pom Sign and it worked out great.
Pro Tip: Mix the pom-pom colors up and add them to a container and allow the pattern to happen naturally instead of intentionally. It looks a lot better this way!

Work from the outside in, like I did, and they will all fit perfectly on your Valentine Pom Pom Sign. This honestly doesn’t take very long (unlike my button trees I made for Christmas, or my floral pumpkin – but worth it!!) but turns out super cute.

There are for sure enough pom-poms in the pack I linked to make two signs the same size I did. You can sit this on a bookshelf like I did, or use the attached hanger to put it on the wall!

I love how differently it looks when you place it in a different setting. It will work for a variety of decor styles, so it’s a perfect Valentine home decor DIY!
