Equipment

Ingredients

  • 12 cups watermelon chunks
  • 4 limes (juiced)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  • Chop up your watermelon into pieces, removing the rind. Don’t worry about any little wide seeds, but mature black seeds should be removed. Juice the limes and set aside.
  • In a blender, combine all the ingredients and pulse on high until everything is very smooth.
  • Through a medium to fine mesh strainer, pour the blended mixture into a bowl. You’ll want to use a spoon to stir the mixture in the strainer around and let the juice fully move away from the pulp. This usually takes about 1-2 minutes and you’re left with some nice watermelon pulp!
  • Turn on the Ninja SLUSHi to the Slush setting, and wait for about 2 minutes. Pour the mixture into the pour spout at the top and let it spin!
  • After about 10-15 minutes, you will be ready to serve your watermelon limeade slushies!

Notes

NOTE: If you want to increase this recipe, be aware of the max fill line on the Ninja SLUSHi. This recipe makes a whole batch for the machine, so you will need to fill to the max line and then wait until that batch is finished to fill the machine again.
