Cool and refreshing, this simple Watermelon Limeade Slushie recipe only calls for three ingredients! It’s the perfect way to enjoy summer flavors with minimal effort. Use a Ninja SLUSHi machine for best results!

For our anniversary one year, my husband got me a Ninja SLUSHi machine. Don’t worry, I had been dreaming of getting one for a while, so it really was a good gift! And ever since then, I have been using it several times a week!
Clean up is easy, and the slushies are the perfect texture! We even made a Copycat Wendy’s Frosty in it recently, and they were out of this world delicious! But this time we wanted something cool and refreshing and full of summer vibes!
Easy Watermelon Limeade Slushie
Sweet, icy cold, and a little tangy, this Watermelon Limeade Slushie is everything you want in a summer drink. Whether you’re making a big batch for a backyard BBQ or just treating yourself, this recipe delivers bold, fruity flavor with almost no prep time.

Ingredients
Only a few ingredients are needed, and you probably have most of them on hand during the summer! The full printable recipe with measurements is available at the end of the post.
- Watermelon – We just buy a whole watermelon and cut it up, but you can definitely get the pre-cut pieces as well! Make sure you buy enough for the batch, which is 6 cups of cut pieces.
- Lime – Fresh lime juice is best, but you can use bottled if you need to.
- Maple Syrup – If you don’t have maple syrup on hand, you can also use honey or sugar instead. We prefer maple syrup for the flavor profile, but use what you have!
NOTE: If you want to increase this recipe, be aware of the max fill line on the Ninja SLUSHi. This recipe makes a whole batch for the machine, so you will need to fill to the max line and then wait until that batch is finished to fill the machine again.

Instructions
This process is so simple! I wish I had a use for the pulp in step 3… but I don’t yet! So, for now, it just goes to our chickens. But if you think of something, leave me a comment!
- Prep – Chop up your watermelon into pieces, removing the rind. Don’t worry about any little wide seeds, but mature black seeds should be removed. Juice the limes and set aside.
- Blend – In a blender, combine all the ingredients and pulse on high until everything is very smooth.
- Strain – Through a medium to fine mesh strainer, pour the blended mixture into a bowl. You’ll want to use a spoon to stir the mixture in the strainer around and let the juice fully move away from the pulp. This usually takes about 1-2 minutes and you’re left with some nice watermelon pulp!
- Freeze – Turn on the Ninja SLUSHi to the Slush setting, and wait for about 2 minutes. Pour the mixture into the pour spout at the top and let it spin!
- Enjoy – After about 10-15 minutes, you will be ready to serve your watermelon limeade slushies!
