St. Patrick’s Day “You Got Lucky” Chocolate Coin Treats
While I normally like to keep my after-school snacks a little more filling and a little lower in sugar, these are too cute to pass up for a once-a-year treat! Below are the details and tips on how to put them together! Grab the printable file at the end of the post.
Step 1: Gather your supplies.

You will need:
- Chocolate Coins
- Free You Got Lucky Printable Label (download below)
- Cardstock Paper
- 3″ x 4″ Bags
- Scissors
- Stapler
Step 2: Print and cut the printable You Got Lucky Treat labels.

When you print the You Got Lucky Chocolate Coin Treat labels, they will look like this. They print four to a page on a regular 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper.
Pro Tip: Print these on cardstock paper for the best results.
Use sharp scissors and cut the labels out.
Step 3: Attach the labels to the bags.

These labels are designed specifically to fit on 3″ x 4″ bags. You can get them pennies a piece on Amazon like I did, or you can also buy them in the jewelry craft section at Walmart, or even at Hobby Lobby.
Fold the label in half, and then center it on the label before you staple it, as shown.

Staple each side of the label to the bag to finish it up! That’s all there is to it, so they’re really very fast. You can find chocolate coins at Hobby Lobby up front in their check-out section (one bag of them fits perfectly in these little bags) or you can buy chocolate coins in bulk on Amazon.
We have even made our own chocolate coins when we needed to control the ingredients! Either way, these little treat bags are so cute!
