How to Make a Handprint Statue of Liberty Craft

This craft comes together in just a few simple steps and is perfect for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary-aged kids.

Start by tracing or making handprints on white and red construction paper. Cut away the palm section from the white handprint so you are left with the fingers

then cut three fingers from the red handprint.

Glue the red fingers in between the white fingers so the colors alternate and create the patriotic crown shape.

Next, cut a curved strip from blue construction paper and use a marker to draw little white stars across it.

Glue this blue piece across the bottom of the handprint, where the fingers meet the face.

Paint the face shape green and let it dry.

Once it is dry, use a marker to draw on the face details, like the hair, eyebrows, nose, and smile.

Make your eyes with white paper and a black marker.
